At Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union (NEFCU), we offer student loan options to help you achieve your higher education goals. Whether you're a graduating high school senior, a parent who is planning for your child's first year at college, or a graduate student returning to school to advance your career, NEFCU offers a variety of Federal Family Education Loan programs (FFELP) to get you where you want to be:

• Stafford Loans for Undergrads
  • The subsidized Federal Stafford Loan is based on financial need. The government pays the interest while you are in school.
  • The unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan is not based on need but family income. You pay all the interest, although you can have the payments deferred until after graduation.
  
  
• Parent PLUS/Grad PLUS Loans for Moms, Dads and Grads!
  Parent PLUS/Grad PLUS Loans are not based on need and are designated for parents of dependent undergraduate students and graduate/professional students looking to further their education.

*Maximum loan amount equal to the cost of attendance (ad determined by your school), minus any aid you'll receive, up to $25,000 per academic year.
